Vitalite Energy Piglet is a unique tool to increase the piglets’ vitality and by consequence its chances of survival.  Every single dose will supply essential active components:

  • Energy: Highly absorbable and immediately metabolisable energy sources based on free fatty acids and simple sugars.  As glycogen stores are very rare in new born piglets, it will help to maintain body temperature and motility.
  • Plant extracts rich in alkaloids will stimulate the young animal’s metabolism, resulting in higher vitality
  • Probiotics to promote beneficial bacteria colonization in the detriment of pathogenic bacteria.

Vitalite Energy Piglet is beneficial for all piglets after birth. In particular weak piglets due to farrowing accidents, mastitis, and other causes of pre-weaning mortality need special care.

Inclusion level:
3-6 ml per piglet (up to 4 months of age).
Administration:
For newborn piglets: administer as soon as possible after birth and place the piglet to the sow’s teats afterwards. Repeat after 12 hours if needed. Pay extra attention to piglets with a birth weight less than 1,2 kg. Before use, bring the dispenser to room temperature of 20-25°C or put in luke warm water for easy handling.
Before administering, make sure the piglet’s mouth contains no feed.
Place the tube on the nipple of the dispenser.
Insert the tube into the piglet’s mouth, preferably on the back of the tongue.
Depress the head of the pump completely once or twice: 1 pump = 3 ml.
Allow the piglet to swallow it.
Close the dispenser with the cover after use; remaining paste may be used on following days until emptied.
