Additionally, formic acid is well suited to lower pH. In young animals whose acid production is not fully developed, this is important for improving the function of pepsin, a gastric enzyme that functions best at lower pH.
MondoPrime’s levels of buffered propionic acid is suitable to keep yeasts and mold under control, making it a suitable product to protect the feed from spoilage or in the case of TMR preventing heating of the feed after it is blended.
